With a dwindling insured pool, health insurance cost has only one place to go – it will only escalate more.

A recent report in the IBD claims 10% of Mexico’s population is now in the U.S. with many more heading our way. The welfare costs of these illegals are enormous estimated at over $50 billion a year by the Heritage foundation.

Mexico treats those entering their country illegally by 2 years in prison. It calls for up to 5-years in prison for someone who marries a foreigner solely to help that person live in their country. Mexico bars illegal immigrants from expressing political opinions in public. Property rights for non-Mexicans are severely restricted.

Back to reality.

These illegal immigrants will soon enough have their entire family and friends moving here to the United States opting for the better life. I don’t blame them.

It’s so easy to get into the land of opportunity.

Unfortunately Americas wage rates will be subject to increased competition. The inner-cities can become a wasteland of low skills and low pay. Socials costs, not to mention the added pressure on the Social Security System will mount.

Those working under the table, so to speak, pay no income taxes. There is no incentive for the employers to kick in for health insurance. With a dwindling insured pool, health insurance cost has only one place to go – it will only escalate more.
